2008 Ford Super Duty Pictures and specs

Gents,

 

Today, Ford officially announced all of the specs for the 2008 Super Duty at the State Fair of Texas. In addition, several pictures are now officially released. I consider myself a GM guy but the new F series heavy duty has some things about it that are very appealing. The exterior changes are low key, but the interior options and layout are a world of difference.

Now, I did not post this to start a flame war. I only did it to keep you updated on the competition. If you like the new truck - great. If you hate it or could care less - that's great, too. Personally, I dig it, but I'm waiting to see both the Chevy and Ford in person before making a decision on my next rig.

The days of 1970 interior design have at least evolved into something a little more current. However, it is not as premium looking as the new GM, but it's a drastic improvement over what Ford has in the current model.

I like it. I noticed the 6.4L has 10 hp and tq less than the d-max. I thought they'd be equal.

Couldn't agree more, its terrible, looks like an International. BUt the interior is nice!

The interior looks good, but I can't stand the front end. The new GMC is my favorite out of the new 3/4 tons followed by the Ford.

Hey, it was an okie that said it was a tailgate ladder...i just wanna be able to get rid of some prarie dogs with it. Lord knows nothin' else works.

The entire dash looks horrible to me. Looks way to...."busy" looking. Also seems kinda cluttered and cramped for such a big truck.

 

The exterior...meh, looks the same to me. Generic.

 

Can't say i am too impressed.
