2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD

I've got a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with Duramax and Allison 6spd. The book says this baby can tow 15600 lbs. Are those numbers realistic or is it just marketting smoke, I need to be able to tow 14500 minimum stock. I might even be willing to do a few after market suspension upgrades to get it to there.

 

What do you guys think? Is this possible.

As long as truck and trailer are under the GCWR and the trailer is under the max towing capacity, and tongue weight dosen't exceed what the hitch can carry. You should be fine. Just pay attention to what amount of weight is where nd that it does not exceed the rating for that location.

The big weight is going to be on pintle hitches, however there will be a few 5th wheel trailers but mostly pintle stuff.
