Advice Needed: Stainless Wheel Opening Trim

Recommended Posts

Posted

I'm thinking that the wheel openings on my new truck look a little bit bare. I'm considering buying a Putco Stainless Wheel Opening Trim kit. My goal is to make it look nice in a somewhat conservative way.

There's two different kinds available. The short kind stops at the same level as the chrome trim line already on the truck. (I'm thinking that this will look the best.) The long kind goes all the way around the wheel opening.

What kind would look at home on this truck?

If you have experience with a specific brand and want to recommend I buy or stay away from it, please let me know. If you think I should consider something completely different, I'd love to know that too.

If you can post a picture that'll help me make up my mind, I'd be thrilled.

Thanks...

I put the putco full length ones on my truck they'r not bad. I bought them from summit racing and for some reason they sent me 2 sets. So I have a second set still in the box sitting in my garage.
