Blower motor question

I am having issues with my '92 GMC K1500 Suburban, the front blower motor speed seems too low. I have replaced the blower motor and heater core and I have good heat, just not a lot of flow. When I turn the heater fan switch to low I can hear it click and start the fan, but it is spinning so slow that it barely moves any air. I can switch it to medium and the speed increases, switch it to high and it increases some more, but still not what I would consider high.

It seems like the high setting moves a medium amount of air, the medium setting moves a low amount of air, and the low setting moves so little air it's almost not worth having.

Is there a resistor in the circuitry that would cause the blower motor to spin too slow?

I know in my Impala SS there is a blower motor resistor mounted next to the blower motor...there were 3 coils on the cicuit that frequently got corroded and impeded use of all three fan speeds...I'm sure there is something similar in my Tahoe but since I've only owned it for a week...I havent had time to delve into things yet.

In fact a quick search on NapaOnline turned up this part for your truck:

Item#: ECHBR93

Price: $16.49

At first I was thinking maybe a short was bleeding voltage off. But then I thought a short would be all or nothing, not a part bleed.

The I realised it could be a bad ground. Or resister pack.

I am having the same issue with my 1995 yukon and I have replaced the motor resistor and High spped relay but still spins too slow. Any ideas?

Where is that resistor located? My fan works only on high and I replaced the A/C-Heater Assembly but that wasn't the issue. If it's the voltage regulator anyone know where it's located? I'm sure that's what it is but I'm new to these trucks.
