A/C problems

I am posting this only to illustrate that other makes/models are not perfect and if I had A/C problems like described on this forum, here in central Florida, I would be very upset. As it is, my '06 Z71 crew cab A/C works great.

I have had very bad expiriences with Dodge AC units.

That one post about the guy in Texas with malfunctioning A/C in his new Megacab is really unbelievable. First, they refuse to take the truck back with 350 miles on it after he buys it new, brings it back and they cannot make the A/C work right. Then, they call a factory rep, who measures central vent air temperature to be 45 degrees F, but the A/C on high is blowing out so little air that the overall cab temperature with A/C on max is 97 degrees! And the guy is told that this is NORMAL!

 

What morons! If you install a tiny 1 ton capacity A/C unit in a 100,000 square foot office building, is it going to cool it efficiently? No, but if it will dribble 45 degree air just past the evaporator coil, is this NORMAL, properly sized operating system?

 

My problem with this whole thing is, how can they treat people like morons all the time? Especially after you spend thousands of dollars of your hard earned money?
