Yeah dude thats the coolest thing ive ever done. Defently worth the money. I like the big sheet of paper they make you fill out so there not lieable for your car blowing up that d**n near scared me not to do it but it was fun to watch.

my truck before i got the bottle and with a bad tune was

stock:241rwhp

dyno:@ 274.5rwhp

so to me not bad and of course you got to remember that 22% loss in drive train or at least that what i figured with stock specs and the truck is 4wd.

well the deed is done and it was worth every penny. i have te before and after dyno charts and god is it wierd to shift out of 2nd at 101 mph and 1st at 65mph. i will post the sheets later tonight. but i think the number is like 288 RWtq and 274 RWHP

Hey man, I been kinda talki' to my dad about doin' that. Where is that place at? Also, give us an idea about what actually goes on.

I've heard lots about these from Mike (Wingnut) and I'm not really sure what they do. Do they change any parts?

Motorsport Technologies is in west houston near Westhimer and Dairy Ashford. The actual intersection is Oxford Park and Dairy ashford. The base price for a Dyno tune is $500 but they are really cool about it and they gave it to me for less than that because i had to wait for them to finish up on a GTO.

Basically they strap the truck to the dyno hook up the tech 2 and a wideband O2 sensor and a laptop with LS1 Edit on it and make a baseline run on the dyno and then they make the first tuning changes and then they pull again and tune again. they ran mine 6 times on the dyno  then they finalize the tune and save it so if the dealer writes over it they can put it back. it is amazing what they can do. it took them about an hour on mine but my air fuel was already good and didn't need tuning and the timing was dead on. Remember to run 2 or 3 tanks of premium 93 octane through it because the tune is written for 93. it will run on 87 but dont romp on it. I must say the difference is night and day.

I have to say the wierdest part was when he ran it after he removed the Speed Limiter. he ran my truck up to 155mph on the dyno and it was cool. then he ran it to 6000RPM's the first time.

But i must say it is a beast now. i have my 1-2 shift at 6000rpms and 57mph and my 2-3 shift is 5800rpms and 101mph :lurk: yes i said 101

Here are the Dyno Charts and RPM Tables.

Im guessing you have 3.42s like I do. With my tune from Jesse I shift from 1st at around 52mpgh and 2nd at 94. You must be screaming a little higher in the rpm range than me.

actually i have 3.23's and my shifts are all the way at 6000

Oh and he all but obliterated the Torque Managment. The Shifts are ridiculous.

thats some good numbers dude. The shop i went to here in maryland was only testing what i had already done to the truck but i had herd about doing an actual dyno tune like you did and that sounds great. I got to check it out, i didnt have the bottle last time but kinda scared theres alot of vedoes of people blowing up there rides.

but thats cool dude

Yeah they make you sign a slip that takes any responsibility away from them if they blow the crap outta your car. I almost backed out after that.
