I'm engaged. Yep, thats right, I'm getting married. I Know, a few people are thinking "who the heck is this guy", since I haven't been on much at all in several months, this is why. I've been lurking but no posts. I'm getting married on July 7 (7/7/7 of course). Next thought of those who know me: Camaro. well here's the deal. The girl understands my car thing. well she don't understand why, but ya kno....and she does NOT want me to sell it. I'm making a final push to pay it off and think it'll be done my march, but I'm looking at selling. I want to go on an alaskan cruise for the honeymoon.

What do you guys think I could get out of the:

1969 Camaro RS

383 Stroker 400(+?)HP

TH350 modified; 2500 RPM stall.

showcar condition thorughout, very minor things to be perfect(would need less than $750 to be)

72K miles.

looks original appearance wise. underhood, under car. only CD player stereo is out of the ordinary(speakers in doors now).

there are cars nearby in the classic car "ad"azines for 30Kish in very similiar condition.

great things is most of the services are going to be by her relatives and friends! what luck, eh?

I've got the honeymoon detailed worked out, just have to buy the tickets.

Congrats as well.

Not sure what a good price would be for the Camaro. I have been out of the classic car scene for a while. I can say this much, if you sell it there will be many times you wish you didn't. At least that is what I hear from everyone I have known that has had a really nice car and sold it.

Sounds like you got the wedding thing handled well. It is amazing how much wedding cakes cost. :)

Congrats SnakeEyes, and best of luck to you and the soon-to-be wife. 701.gif

HERE's something I found that might help ya with the Camaro. (although this link is just for the Camaro)

And THIS is for the SS Camaro.

They don't have a selection for the RS.

Congrats!!

But keep this thought....It would be easier in the future to replace the wife, than to replace that Camero! :D:lol::lol::)

Nice piece of automotive history!!
