Dont know if anyone looks over at the SS site but I saw this link over there for XM for $77/year. The link goes over to the Acura site and some one figured out how to get XM at a discount rate if you have the factory install XM. I called and got mine for $77/year just a few minutes ago. I didnt even have to give the special code. I just told them I got the flyer for $77/year.

i still have some subscription left, but later this year when its ready to expire again im going to let it happen...they really pissed me off when they decided to renew my subscription for me after my first year. This caused me headaches with my credit card company... XM didnt do S**T to make things right with me either.

I let mine expire after the 3 free months.

But If I can get it for $77 for an entire year...I might do it.

holy cow I got the year for 77 and a addtional radio samsung nexus50 for 9.99

and they will start it from my the expire date on my trial all I had to pay for the second radio is 6.99 x 3months advance " covers there activation too"

I hear XM isn't doing to well and thats why there is the proposed merge with Sirius. I had Sirius in my Jeep for 2 years and it rocks. I just subscribed to XM for $140 some dollars for one year. I can't wait to the merge and I hope most of the Sirius stations transfer over.

Is the $77 deal only good for a renewal subcription or for an initial subcription. I wonder if I call back, if they will discount my subscription.

I got 2 recevers.Called them 3 weeks ago & told them I wanted to cancel,they gave me 3 months free to stay.Took them up on that one.I don't know why all the good deals,who is their compition???

Sirius and XM have merged.All in the same as of last year.

The US Dept of Justice and FCC still need to approve the merger before anything real happens. This approval or denial is due before summer this year. At CES both companies felt positive that they would get approval from the feds.

I have two Siruis radios and one XM (in the 08). I'm paying month to month on XM hoping something will happen with the merger or that Directed will release the SIR-GM3A so I can have Sirius in my daily driver while I wait.

Seriously though, are we going to have an answer on this by mid-year or so? I have gotten use to XM but I liked the Sirius better.

The 3-month trial on my 2008 Silverado was set to expire in a few days, so i called XM and told them about the flyer i had seen with the $77.00 /year offer. The woman i spoke to gave me that deal with no problems, she didn't even ask me for the promotional code.
