Coating Bushwacker Flares?

I would like to coat my Bushwacker Flares, not paint em'. I have been told that Line-x will NOT adhere to plastic, I am not sure if it is simply the plastic or becuase it is a cold spray application. Does anyone know if Rhino Liner or another coating can adhere properly? I have been told yes and no from 2 different companys.

you might want to check with a Line-X dealer about if it adhear's to plastic or not, because when I got my truck bed sprayed i was looking at a book of vehicles they had done and they had the izuzu (dont know what its called) with all the plastic on the outside that they had sprayed with Line-X

Apparently one can coat plastic. But only if the piece is encapsulated, coated inside and out. The flares go in on Monday.

Now opinions on whether or not ot do them in black or have em coated in body color, i'm also going to line-x the bottom 1/4 of the door in body color so i'm thinking match the truck.
