Don't recall that, but I was playing Aha's "Take On Me" earlier(the video) and felt the desire to do a little searching on there for other 80's videos...my oh my what a way to kill half a Saturday afternoon

I remember that. I was 12 at the time and lived in Amherst a suburb of Buffalo about 2 miles from the city line. We felt the explosion at our house. It felt like a small earthquake aftershock.

I know that feeling. There was a gas explosion in Richmond a few years back, it was probably 5-10 miles from my house and the house shook like the dickens, and you could hear a thunderous roar in the distance. It was about a year or so after 9/11 so we were scared that it might have been a terrorist attack.

 

 

 

1983 was 2 years before my birth, so all I can do is imagine what it was like back then.
