Anyone with E-85 use it??

I have an e-85 1500 and havent been able to try it because there are no stations in NY. Anyone else use it often???

youve got e85 stations in these areas, Some you might not be able to fuel at because it could be government only

Yeah, the HEB grocery store here near Ft Hood carries it. I have used it when I'm low on cash and need some gas. It generally runs about 40-50 cents cheaper than Unleaded. But the down side is poorer fuel economy cause it take more E85 to make the same horsepower. So, I drop from 17-18mpg to 11-12mpg. Also, it's not recommended for towing situations either...

So it dropped that much. Wow. I just got an 07 flex fuel and am gonna try it out. We'll see what happens.

I get a consistent 25% reduction in mpg using e85. In my area it's 30 cents cheaper than regular...it costs me more to burn it. In order for it to be more economical, it would have to be more than 50 cents cheaper. I've decided to pass on it for now.

My 02 Yukon has the Flex fuel 5.3 engine and there are no stations here in Phoenix that sell it. And hello to all this is my first post here. Glad to be a part of this forum.

Just some info

 

Meijer (grocery/merchandise chain in midwest like walmart) started selling E85 in Indiana. Seen it today for $2.37 a gallon vs $2.51 for reg.

Sorry for the stupid question here but is it okay just to top off with E85 regardless of how much actual gasoline you have left?
