Mud Flaps

Love my husky liners. They came with the clear tape so they don't rub the paint off and they were easy to put on. :flag:

The ones from Husky Liner form fit to the contour of the body panel and come with the 3M rock guard tape

they give you real protection from rocks and mud without making your truck look like Grandpa's used to

The factory flaps look good - haven't seen the husky's.

And another for Husky. They look similar to the molded factory flaps except without the logo. And, as was mentioned earlier, the protective film for the paint is a plus. You do have to drill one hole in each fender, but I think you have to do this with the GM mud guards as well.

I looked around and Cabela's had a good price.

I looked at the Husky's and they are a good set. I bought the GM set though because they are high quaility and I got them at a decent price. On the front flaps, no drilling is required. On the backs, you must drill 2 holes each side. Not hard at all.I vote for the GM set.

I have the GM mud flaps on for over 30,000 miles and not a problem. They sure do keep alot of crap off of the pickup. Never tried the Husky brand but the look like they would do the job.

What about it the flaps get caught on some deep mud? Or do the tires plow the material out the way so flaps don't acually touch.

Or, what about curbs.

Luverne brand contoured stainless steel ones on mine. Love them!!! Much nicer than the molded plastic cheapass things.

Have pictures?

so u are talking the ones the dealer has? do u mean the paint that is completely covered by the flaps, or is it the inches of paint just to the side ? I am curious because I am soon to buy a set and was looking at the dealer ones but i dont need that!
