What Am I Missing?

i took off the screw at the bottom of the panel, and by the door handle. i also took off the plastic triangle. still cant lift up. what am i missing here..please help

Did you pop off the door lock slider? The little piece that slides forward and back just pops out...But it could keep the panel from coming up.

 

Also, you said that you removed the triangle piece...Did you remove the screw behind it?

well, yea i remove the lock slider and there was the secret screw i was missing. now i need to figure out how to unhook the bezel from the rods that attach to the motor...

Are you replacing the window motor?

no, just taking off door handle/bezel so i can paint to match. i know this should be easy but i come from fixing classic vw bugs..kinda different hehe

I'm trying to remember if that's a snap-ring or one of those things that you have to pretty much destroy to get off....Hmm...

the bezel around the lock should just pop off ... just took my panel off a few weeks ago ... then pry the bezel that holds the window up down switch off ... it doesnt like to come off but just work with it.
