Gm Molded Splash Guards 07 Sierra Crew?

Ok, so I ordered the molded splash guards from GM (#19154778 front #19154779 rear) only to find out that they do not fit. The rear ones do not line up correctly. The back tab does not line up to anything. I went to the dealership and held them up to the standard and long beds only to find out that bed is different behind the wheels on those beds compared to the 5'8" box.

I have seen some pictures of people with the Sierra crew cabs (like mine) with the GM molded splash guards on this site, and my question is what part number are they or did you just not screw in the back mounting tab on the rear guards?

when I mounted mine I had to drill all the holes to mount it. Even the back hole. When it is done it looks good

Did you use the same part number? I realize that I have to drill all the holes, but the very back tab does not line up with the body (it touches nothing) on the 5'8" box, but does on the standard and long boxes. Did you have the same issue?

yes those are the part numbers I used. The rear lower screw only about a 1/4" in from the edge of the metal.

Also when I installed them I put black vinyl under it so it will protect the paint from scratches when the mud flaps moves in the wind and when dirt get between the two. It only sticks out 1/8" past the flaps and helps out alot.

I noticed in the GMC accessory booklet that p/n 19154779 has an asterisk and the footnote "Excluding Sierra trucks with a 5'8 box".

I came up with p/n 19170642 for the rear but I can't remember where I got it. That should be the one you need.

How did you make out? What flaps did you end up using? I have the same problem. Did you use the 19170642...
