Problem solved -- There are 2 actuators that control doors on heater assembly

The one that I had that was making knocking noise was the one close to the firewall

I disconnected wire going to actuator - Noise gone -

I however have yet to remove actuator and either repair or replace it -- That's for

another rainy day -- Note : the heater still functions at least the defrost is still on that's

all that matters at present time.

 

I will post info as to what I find when I remive actuator.
