Heater Noise --

I posted a question on the ASK A GM Tech -- What is making a knocking noise behind the

Heater motor? Only 1 response. That's okay.

 

Found the problem -- There are 2 door control actuators on the heater control box.

The one I found that was making the noise was the one located close to the firewall.

I disconnected wire -- bingo - no more loud knocking.

 

I have yet to determine what is actually wrong with the actuator but will post my

findings on the next rainy day.
