That whole truck is really sharp looking, the cover on the back looks really good too.

Great looking truck. The one I'm getting is similar, but with the 5.3L. I thought that the truck was sort of ugly at first, largely based on photos of it. The builder on the GM website has the absolute worst shots of the truck, IMO. The wife and I went and looked at the Chev on Saturday (after already testing the F-150, Tundra, Titan and Ram) and I thought that the Silverado looked at least as good as any of the others and certainly better than the Ram and Titan. The black grille really adds to the look IMO. The only thing I don't like and don't understand is the fake woodgrain on the dash. The salesman we dealt with said that he was surprised we didn't like it as he said most people really like it. Its a small issue and it's pretty much on all of the top end trucks anyway from what I recall (I think the Tundra didn't have any).

I love the woodgrain, it makes the truck look really really nice. Thanks for the comments. The VMAX is horrible on gas though.

I don't think the Silverado is ugly, yours is beautiful. I think they look much, much better with the body color grill, though. The chrome grill needs some work, I think.

I believe they were about $300 installed for the chrome ones, and $50 less for the flat black ones.

 

I've always used Westin, and had great luck with them.
