Xm Sattelite Radio

I really like the free trial of xm sattelite radio that came with the truck. I plan on renewing the subscription. Someone who has Sirius sattelite radio said that they give great deals on renewal if you wait till it about runs out. This is Sirius and not XM. Has anybody renewed there free trial yet and is there a better deal than the advertized $12 a month. I know if you have more than one radio the deal is better but it's only going to be this one.

With tax mine was $148 for 1 year, then i think it gets cheaper as you increase the amount of years you want.

If I remember I think you're 100% correct... the term of the contract will determine the price.

I don't know what will happen price-wise if the deal for the sirius and xm merger goes through. They claim that the price should not go up, and that there may be cheaper packages available for those who don't want all the channels.

And number of radios subscribed. We have 4 XM units, and pay like $6 month on yearly contract.

Everyone on "Corvette Forum.com" has been made aware that XM can be had for $77.00 per year. Tell them that you have a discount code " ZWINBACK". If that doesn't work, offer to not renew. Ask to speak to a manager. Pay a couple extra dollars to be invoiced. Pay the invoice with a money order. If you pay by credit card or check- they WILL debit your account next year the full $145.00 or whatever. XM isn't worth it to me. I don't drive my vette that often, and my dually trucks don't have xm.

That is very true of XM, I never gave them permission to charge my debit card, but sure enough, they took $399 and said that I had 'indicated' that I wanted the multi year plan. I noticed it that morning and by noon that day, I was no longer an XM subscriber, and even swapped out my XM module and installed Sirius and subscribed to them for 6 months.
