This Site Is Getting Slow

It's definitely not just you. I've noticed this problem is getting worse for the last week or two.

Same here. Of all the sites I visit on a regular basis, this site is by far THE SLOWEST! At work, we have a T1 line and in comparison to other sites when surfing at work (during lunch) this site is the slowest. At home I've got dial up which really bogs down. The only option where I live for high speed is satellite, and I can't justify the added expense. But even with dial up, other sites are not anywhere nearly as slow as this one.

There are plenty of times I get the dreaded "page cannot be found" error. Sometimes for 30 minutes or more. I have also noticed a slowing of the site overall.

I'm on dial up 24/7..... Everything is slow for me all the time.

The only problem Ive had, is when I'm in a topic and i want to go back I have to push the back button 2 times in order for it to do anything.

Otherwise its fine.

Alot of times it's a problem between your personal Browser and the forum. I'm merely a moderator and can't speak for certain cause I'm certainly not running the place.. just speaking by what I've witnessed from past experiences.

 

Most likely what's gonna happen is Zane or Josh (brought this thread to their attention) is gonna come in here and ask all of you who are experiencing speed issues with the site what Browser you are using. And go from there.

Since they are coming in this thread I am putting in my request to be the Performance engine tuning and Gas engine tech moderator. I spend too much time on here anyways

 

I do have some troubles occasionally with the page not loading and getting an error page.

Agreed, but the staff should include a 4" stroker crank with forged rods and pistons. For extra hosting speed I recommend race fuel and methanol injection along with the nitrous

 

On a 6.0l server that should be a 408CID with 900 server power. Maggie 122 recomended, or wait for the Eaton TVS blowers to come out.
