I spotted this ultra rare GM prototype in Austin, Texas today and just had to get pictures of it. In spite of the incredibly high quality of these photos, I assure you that this is not a Photoshop job. I know, I know... It's hard to believe.

Could this be the new El CarMino? or possibly the Celebrino?

Not to be confused with the Corsi Camino (for Rich)

Who says the General is not on top of current marketing trends? I' for one am constantly amazed with the quality of new product being introduced for public consumption. Nothing but the best for us!

I've kept you waiting long enough... Here ya go!

:P Don't worry it's hilarious! I'm considering using it for my SIG for a few days :D

What really cracks me up is the fact that once you cut that top section out, the floor is all that is really holding the rear suspension. Unibody cars rely on the upper structure for strength. There is no frame. One good dip and the car will probably fold in the middle.

Hey, I say bring back the El Camino. I had a 69 250 6 cyl with a powerglide and I loved that little car, truck, car oh well.

My Dad had an all black 70 model SS with a 402, buckets, rally wheels, cowl induction etc. Man, I really did love that one and wish I had it today.

Man, that's sweet. When do they go on sale?

I bet you could own the prototype without even going to the bank!
