Ok I was looking at it and I like my TNR on my Sierra but the whole use the DVD nav thing kills me. I'd want to use a CD too. I was looking at delphi's website and they make a smaller GPS unit that uses SD card for the mapping data. They also have a cool little add on that will tell you when your about to hit traffic and finds an alt route.

So does anyone know of a way to hack into the TNR and use the TNR screen to access the smaller unit and still use the radio keys and such? It also has Bluetooh and will act as a speaker phone for your cell phone.

I think that you would have to be able to get the radio to communicate with whatever you are using to hack it, the best tool would be the Tech 2 from the dealership, but the problem is that they dont even know how to use it half the time, they really just send the radio back to the OEM provided and let them mess with it...I am not sure that you can even do this without having access to some advanced tools or a method that I have not heard of.
