Got My Exhaust!

I started shopping for prices on magnaflow/flowmasters today. Some places wanted 350 to 450 for single in duel out. after calling about 15 places came across a shop that would hook me up for 275.

went by, took them about an hour and 15 mins to finish.

i decided to go with a single in duel out flowmaster 40 series with polished stainless tips.

they did a real good job, the pipeing was real high and everything was level and stright.

Truthfully i was suprised how good it sounded on my 4.8

ill get some pics going soon!!!

Good choice on the Flowies. You would have been sad with the Magnaflow. I put in a single in dual out Magnaflow on mine and had to have a Flowmaster resonator installed because there was some much cab noise at 1500 RPM apparently I was the 5th guy in 2 months complaining of this issue. When I confronted Magnaflow about it all they said was that they warrantied the Muffler and nothing about the noise... Jerks.... Still love the sound this thing has now though..

Are these good factory mufflers that we are replacing?

What happens to the OEM factory muffler/pipes?

When my son had true duals put on his Denali... I brought the factory muffler to my place and put it in the backyard shed. In case it is ever needed again.

The more I listen to the new exhaust, the more I'm thinking we can get rid of that muffler... But, you never know. I could suddenly get the urge to be quiet.... But, I highly doubt that'll happen. :fume:
