Aftermarket Alarm Fitting To 06 Silverado

I wonder if any one has fitted an aftermarket alarm to an 06 Silverado? Someone has got to have on here as it's a great site.

 

I have got a Viper 3000 two way paging alarm with glass break and dual zone sensor. I have also brought a dei 1700G module to connect between the alarm and OEM electrical system.

 

Having looked at Both installation manuals and sorting out a connection plan, Just want a second opinion to double check. I have considered getting a professional audio/security man to install but since I am in UK, no one wants to tackle it (scared I guess)

 

I am planning on putting 3 extra Door pins on the bed cover and tailgate as not giving anyone a chance to attack it. These will be wired direct to alarm.

 

If all else fails, i could always sleep in cab and use a nail gun for defense HAHAHA
