Fm Modualtor

I bought a FM modualtor to tie my Ipod into my radio (I know they are not the best route, but I don't want to invest in a new stereo).

This unit mounts in line with my antenna. , however I can't find where the antenna ties into the radio. The truck is a 2004 GMC with a bone stock stereo.

I pulled the dash apart and got the radio partialy out (but I was limited to how far I could pull it out due to the wiring harness), and the radio antennal looks like it whips out of the radio and makes somwhere else.

Where does the antenna make?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

GM stereos use a mini antenna plug that goes into the back of the stereo. They can be tough to get out lol. If your adapter doesn't have a mini adapter you will have to find one and go another route. I think they just like to make people spend more money on adapters. I know they make them to go from mini to normal size but I dont know if they make them to go back to mini.

mini to normal size adapter.
