Spoonman Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 On my 05 Sierra with coil springs, is there front end disassembly involved? Or do you just jack up the front wheel off the ground high enough to get to everything? Is it more than I want to do having not done any front end work before?

Just jack it up and let the suspension drop. Unbolt the shock and swap it out. Use jack stands so that you don't become a statistic.

The shocks are inside the coil springs, they will actually come out as well or allow enough space to change the shocks?
