2008 Gmc Z71 Clinking Noise In 4 Wheel Drive

I have just a purchased a 2008 GMC Sierra Z71 Crew Cab. This is my first ever truck and I am new to having a vehicle with four wheel drive.

 

When I switch over to either automatic 4 wheel drive or 4 HI, I hear this slight clinking noise that sounds like it is coming from inside the dash. I kind of sounds like two wrenchs hitting each other. I also notice this when I accelerate or let off of the gas.

 

Is this clinking noise common? Everything seems to be working fine otherwise.
