Just what are the criteria to call a truck a classic?

Well...according to the forum it looks like thats us man. Anything 1998 and older is "classic", however I think thats dumb and refuse to post topics regarding my truck in "classic". I still post in 1500. I think Classic is anything pre-1988. Every once in a blue moon I'll post something regarding my truck here for giggles and get essentially zero responses.

Nice looking ride by the way. RCSB, stepsides are the best :chevy:

Thanks and that is one sweet stepside!!

A lot of car shows I go to and the state of Texas consider a vehicle 25 years old or older a classic. I'm not sure who cooked that up.

I think we are considered a classic because it is one of the favorite body styles and it is 3 body styles ago!!

Yea, man thats what I was thinking too.

You know I LOVE the forum here. Lots of great info...BUT. IMO there is much to be desired when it comes to our GMT-400s. Think there would be an interest in a separate forum?

I kinda had the idea to split the forum here into sub catagories by GMT number instead of how it is now. Not sure how popular it is.
