hey all long time reader first time poster.

i was out cleaning my truck this afternoon and again was totally frusturated.

what does everyone use to clean their dash.

when ever i clean the dash it only shines for like 30 seconds then it looks dirty again.

the rough material gm uses just collects dust.

my old truck a 02 gmc sierra i would clean the dash and it would shine for days.

what does everyone use?

by the way i use meguires wipes

I have always used 303 Protectant for the dash and any other vinyl or rubber parts. Cleans them up good and helps fading, and since there are not suppose to be any petroleum products in also prevents cracking.

I also use the armour all cleaning wipes, they just clean, dont make it shiny. I used the shiny stuff once and hated it, plus it felt gross on your hands when you touched it.

every other day i will wipe mine with a mini california duster, much like Travis said above. just a lil dust. if and when it does get dirty, armor cleaning wipes work well for me.

+1. I use one of those California Dusters on the whole truck. Especially when I know it's gonna rain. Keeps the spots down.

The radio display and instruments really look dirty with just a little dust. The mini-California removes this without the risk of abrading those lenses with the dust on a cleaning rag.

A good buddy of mine uses a fine make-up brush for that. His stinkin' Ford is spotless.
