Steering Wheel Button Lights

I have the BOSE System in my 06 Silverado crew cab and it has the steering wheel controls. The lights in the bottom left hand of the steering wheel buttons do not work and the numbers 1,2, and 3 do not work on the radio. What can I do to fix this?

Is it still under warranty by any chance? The same thing happened to my dad's '04 Sierra and it was fixed under the warranty. Since then, however, all the steering wheel lights and some radio button lights have gone out again but, since it's not under warranty anymore he hasn't done anything about it. Other than that, I don't what to tell ya. Good luck!

My radio had some lights quit. I picked up some bulbs at Radio Shack and soldered them in. If you're handy with a soldering iron it can be done.

The lights on a couple of mine are out also....out of warranty. How do you remove the buttons to get to the lights??

the buttons just pop right off and your steering wheels, comes out as whole assembly
