Deer...

A deer thought it could cross the road in front of my Silverado...it didn't make it...

 

It was not a very big deer, probably only a year old, but it jumped just before it hit me...

amazing what a lil deer will do. sry to hear that mean looks pretty bad. i live in the country also they everywhere i think their too populated right now. u gonna get a new truck

Sorry to hear what happened, looks like your driver door is dented too?.. that dear was obviously airborne to hit the windshield that high up.

Not to sound smug but I'd rather hit a Deer then a Moose. Sux to have it happen but if it was a moose you would be dead or at very least be writing off your truck.

Ouch. Really makes one appreciate the advances that have been made in vehicle glass. Hard to believe that we used to drive around with regular old plate glass in front there at one time. That could have been pretty bad.

Here are some pictures of the fender and the door...they are not very spectacular...the view while driving is kind cool...

 

I also attached a picture of my buddy and the 23 inch walleye caught less than two hours after we hit the deer...
