How Many Of You Plan On Towing This Weekend

I am unfortunately towing a horse to Weatherford, TX 230 miles one way. I've watched one particular gas sation raise its price nearly 30 cents in the last two days starting at $3.50 to now $3.79, actually less than 48 hours. I'll get around 11-13mpg, nearly $160.

Ouch :uhoh: Luckily i only have about a 40 mile drive, at least you don't have to fill up your horses like i do the jet ski!!!

Last weekend I towed my 6000lbs trailer out on its maiden voyage....will be doing it all summer long!

Going to pull my boat out of hibernation tomorrow afternoon. Not sure if I will actually get it wet this weekend or not yet. We've had an extremely cool spring and the water temps are still way low. Oh well, at least I'll get her home and prepped for the summer. I have a few things I want to do to it anyway.

I won't be towing, but will be going to Vermont to watch my brother-in-law race on the modified tour. Around 200 miles one way.

nothing. I don't have an expendable income. I gotta crack the whip on the wife and have her make me more money!

Ha, yeah right!

I don't have anything to haul, so I will be hauling nothing. But hopefully I will be able to go shooting this weekend. Haven't had a chance to shoot my new pistol yet.

If I had my parents jet skis, I would be taking those out. Screw the gas prices!

Nice rig!!!

I was towing, but have the 21RS. A nice trailer to tow and camp with. Do you know of the Outbackers forum?

Cheers.

I have to tow, but not for recreation. :uhoh: I'm towing a ~15' long dual axle trailer loaded with insulated metal panels. It won't be heavy, but big and bulky. Hopefully it won't be a very windy 250 miles...

I am thankful I'm not doing that right now. I would ride my two to work if I didn't work 35 miles away. Gas is $3.99/gal here. At least they make good lawn mowers... :uhoh:

Not towing but taking a weeklong vacation and will be driving approximately 2000 miles round trip. At $4/gallon that's about $440. :uhoh:

I picked up an 86 Fiero GT and am going to pick it up on Saturday morning. This will be the first I'm towing with truck. A 250 mile round trip so I'll see what mileage I get with the 6.0 engine.
