First of all I love this truck, as a 17-year-old I consider myself extremely lucky. As a first car, I was shocked when my dad bought it for me. It has the 5.3 liter V8, Z71, 4x4, WT interior, and cloth seat.

Now to my question what should I do next? I have been saving up for awhile for some accesories. Should I get:

1. New escalade mirrors.

2. A better sound system.

3. Mudflaps and bed rail protectors(or should I just get them resprayed?).

4. Or the most expensive thing, get new leather seats.

Heres some pics with my new denali grill.

It is actually your call, I would say a better sound system, but it is all subjective. congrats on the truck - (warning, might catch some flak here since your truck was purchased for you and we had to buy our own) :uhoh:

Haha yeah, well I still have to pay for a little less than half of it. Its going to take me awhile to get the money together, but I have already started the process of setting aside funds.

The truck looks awesome! :uhoh:

Of the things on your list, I'd probably go leather seats or sound system. I think it'd be a little too much chrome with the esky mirrors and the denali grille. A leveling kit would also look great.

Some cheap (free) stuff that would look good: Pull off the lower valance, and debadge the doors and the tailgate.

ok, only 1/2 the flack then... :rollin:

Nice truck, do the sound system mods first. You will probably enjoy it more

Although, after a few days or weeks of living with lint infested cloth seats, you may change your mind and go with the leather :uhoh::lol::lol:

Sweet truck man! I would go with a leveling kit and the sound system first.

I vote for leveling kit (if you go down, it is cheap, if you go up, a little more expensive, but not that much more), very cheap mod and debadge the sucker!

Very nice truck. It's your call on what mods to do. I could never imagine my dad buying me a truck when I was 17. Was it for graduation? :uhoh:

If it were me at 17 (or even now) I'd do the sound system first. I disagree with you about the cost of the leather, as I know I could never do a sound system in any of my vehicles cheaper then I could do leather (assuming leather is about $1500).

Very nice truck...You are very lucky. My first car was a Vega. I know that before your time but it was a true beater.

You must be a good son for you're dad to be doing that for you. Keep up the good work and don't be a pain in the A_ _ for him. :cold:

1.Level It.

2.Leather it.

3.Music.

4.Enjoy it.

Of your choices I'd do the stereo. I wish mine had a nicer stereo(stock kind of sucks...) but I like to drive with the windows down and with new exhaust, I don't care as much about the stereo anymore.
