07-08 Crew Cab Full Coverage Rear Floor Mat?

Hello,

I just got an new 08 GMC Crew and I'm looking for a floor mat for the rear that covers the whole floor, including under the seats. Every mat I find only covers the first 12" or so where your feet would be if the seats are down. I have the rear seats up most of the time to haul stuff so I would like a mat that protects under them as well. I already know GM doesnt make one. Has anyone found anything that like that? If not any suggestions about maby doing something custom?

Also seperately I saw in a GM instruction manual about a bike rack for the cargo managment system, however I cant seem to find a part number for it. The dealer doesnt know about it either.

Thanks - David

I have the husky liners and it covers the whole rear floor!! I would highly recommend this liner.

Perfect those are exactly what I am looking for. On each of those how would you say the surface is? Is it like a sticky rubber or more hard heavyweight. What I'm getting at is how easy would it be to slide something in across it, would it stick to the box and pull up or is the surface hard enough that you could slide something over it and it stays put.

The weathertech are a harder molded plastic with a little different finish layer on the top. Not just like hard plastic but definately not like rubber mats. Plus since they are molded to fit EXACTLY I would assume that they would not move. I have a pair for the front of my CCSB and they have only moved when I took them out.

I have an extended cab with weathertech liners in the front and rear. The front ones fit amazingly, and they are easy as heck to clean. No dirt or water gets on the carpet, which is great in the winter. They don't move anywhere unless you pull them out.

The rear mat is a bit different then the front ones, as it fits along the whole back floor. The edges are not as steep as the front mats, so I'd assume that it would be easier for water to get underneath them (haven't had this happen yet though). I had to do a bit of trimming where the mat fits around the centre console to make it fit properly (which took all of 2 minutes).

I am extremely happy with the weathertech mats - I had to buy the rear ones because everyone treats my truck like an f'ing taxi. I seriously wouldn't mind a regular cab just because of that reason.

The husky liners are more of a hard heavyweight rubber that holds it form. You can slide stuff on it with no problem. The bottom of the liners even has little plastic nubs that hold the mats in place on the carpet. SO when you slide stuff the mat stays in place.

This is my 5th set on my 5th truck and they haven't disappointed me yet. They are worth the money.

I've had Husky's and Weathertech's and enjoyed both. If you opt for the Weathertech's, check out Cabelas as they have them for a slightly better price.
