has anyone ever converted a gmc / chevy van to a diesel with something like a 5.9 cummins.

 

i have seen this done to ford vans..and trucks. and also chevy trucks. but why not a gmc / chevy van?

 

i would hate to shell out the huge bucks for a new duramax powered van!!

 

other optional engines would be the 4bt cummins that are in most bread trucks. u can really turn them up in power...and get awesome mileage too.

 

there are many pictures and links to conversions. and youtube has many converted ford and chevy trucks in video. and a couple of ford vans. but why no chevy gmc van? is there something sucky about the gmc / chevy vans that makes the ford superior?
