I just placed about my 3rd order with rock auto. I ordered brake pads for my impala last Thursday night. Saturday early afternoon they were delivered. Less than 2 days and I didnt even go with upgraded shipping. I wish I knew they would come that early and I would have made plans to change them on Sunday. My second part of the order (fog light assy replacements) arrived today. Also if you search online you can find 5% off codes

Regrettably no ! We have in Europe Chevrolet dealers, only for european style car (Matiz, captiva, lacetti etc. you can look here http://www.chevrolet.fr/) , they can order a part for my truck but very expansive and shipping very long ! Why ? I do not know ! They consider that they are not Chevrolet USA and that it is not a same brand ! :)

Wow, running a truck in France must be quite costy.

I know I get slapped 100$ every year for being over 4.0L and +33$ because there's public transportation in the city I live in (like public transport. will get me to remote fishing spots...right).

Actually they are right ,chevrolet in europe is kind like in Brazil ,it's OPEL (german GM division)!

BTW ,how much did you pay for your truck in France? I paid US$100.000,00 dollars here in Brazil (duties all over ),Can you believe this? If this forum's fans measurement was measured by how much each member paid for its truck ,I would be the biggest chevy truck fan ,I guess I am!

How imported cars are taxed in Brazil:

FOB PRICE :US$42.250,00 + freight US$2.000,00= 44.250,00

import TAX : 35%

industrialized product tax:25%

state Sales tax:18%

others taxes:11%

all in cascade 44.250,00 X 35% X 25% X 18% X 11% = US$97.800,00 :fume:

GOD BLESSED THE USA!!! HONOR YOUR COUNTRY!!! :sigh:

At the end 48800 $ = 31 140 €, when you know that a middle "class" car is 30 000 € (Saab 9.3 or BMW 1 or Renault Laguna). Did you know that a Nissan Navara diesel (= in USA Nissan Frontier) with same features than my Silverado is 42 000 € = 65 200 $ !!!

As we say in French : "il n'y a pas photo" (= there is not photo finish) ! You understand why I bough this truck with a best look, best engine (yes he love the gas !)

And I do not understand why GM do not sell his truck in Europe ! :lol:
