upgrading stock TBI

well now that i have come to kind of a decidion on the basic engine. i need to get some input on upgrading this stock TBI system, as of now i've seen a complete system offered by edelbrock that makes it multiport, 8 injectors and all that nice stuff.. but its a little out of the budget. is there any thing out to improve on what i have already?

It's my understanding that the TBI from a 454 will bolt up.

You may want to check on that.

Holley makes a TBI Projection, but I don't think it is any improvement over stock.

The TPI system is nice, but you're right, it is expensive.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get Holley Projection. Costs ?,000 and is not for computer controlled engines. The edlebrock mulit-point efi is kind of expensive too, and a lot of mechanics and car guys that I know say it is a waste of money. I went for the 670 cfm Holley TBI. Two inch bores, and with an adapter plate, it will bolt on any intake. I don't know, I just think that ?, the cost of the multipoint efi, could be spent on better things. For a ? I could get my stall, ignition kit, and custom chip, and maybe have ? left over.
