What A Way To Start The Day

I guess somebody needed my wheels and tires worse than I did. BTW I had the 20" wheels. Big surprise

The bad thing is this is the first picture I have posted up. Yes I know I'm late.... So I guess I am properly introducing myself.

Anyways. Is there any good wheel lock options? Like ones that have a outside collar that rotates to prevent the removal sockets from working.

How about the GM inclination sensor? Anybody have it and how sensitive is it?

These got taken out of your own driveway? WOW. Pretty bold theives for sure.

What are you going to replace them with? I'm assuming that your insurance will cover them.

That's messed up right there. Sorry you have to go through that crap. Nice truck though!

No clue on the wheel lock or sensor questions, luckily, I've never had to deal with something like that.

Man, that sucks! Makes me glad my truck is usually in the garage.... Man! Sorry to hear & see that!

As far as locks go.. I'm using McGard locks on mine. They're the old-school locks that are smooth around the sides, with the "key" that fits in the middle. I'm sure there's a way to get them off without the "key," though... If anyone is serious enough, they'll find a way.

+1 on mcgard, the ones i use are the 'shorties'. It sounds like the ones that look like this:

while you are at it, you may want to put a mcgard tailgate lock on your tailgate (mine was stolen about a month ago) - looks kind of like this:

What is the world coming to? This kind of stuff happens everywhere. My parents live in a nice neighborhood with homes in the low to mid 200s and I've caught a lot of people trying to rip people off or break into model homes the past few years. It's mostly an older community and my parents happen to be the youngest (And they're 56) so I'm the only person out and about past 11pm. A guy two houses down had the propeller stolen off his boat in his driveway in the middle of the night. That's no easy task. I'm sorry to see/read about your misfortune and I hope it doesn't happen to you again. Wheel locks are a definite good idea.

Man that is just totally lame. Can even still see the nuts laying on the ground. I am sorry this happened to you. Good luck with your insurance company. Yes, definitely wheel locks and maybe a inclination sensor. The tailgate lock is a good idea too. I really don't know what society is coming to.

If they find the people that did this, they should twist their nuts off.

sorry to hear about your loss - to make lemonade out of the deal - if you ever wanted to get a suspension lift - with wheels with non factory backspacing - now could be the opportinity

i am not trying to sound callous - take the Cash if possible over replacement ..

sorry about what happen to you  , but nowadays you gotta have wheels locks no matter where you live..specially with those rims costing $1500 up, gmpartsdirect.com sells a lock nut set for around $30 I think..
