Wierd Issue

Hey guy's, first off, no I didn't do a search, cause I'm lazy. Any how, here lately my '99 C2500 with a 5.7 vortec has developed a wierd problem. I start it up, put it in gear and take off, and everything is fine. Now 1 out of every 10 times or so, when I shut it off, i.e. going to the store, and then restart it, it struggles to shift into gear. When this happens, I can shut it off and wait a few seconds, start it back up, put it in gear, and the damn thing shifts fine. I haven't serviced the transmission as of yet. I was just wondering if any one else has had this issue, and what they had to do to resolve it. Any input would be very helpful, as the symptom's just make no sense to me.

Ok, I just did a search on transmission issues. None of them really had the same symptoms as I'm having. I think I'll go ahead and do a filter and fluid change and see if that clears up my issue. I'd still like some comments though, and not about my being to lazy to do a search.
