Why Not Power Down Window For Passenger

Recommended Posts

I have been thinking (between sips of JD) why can't I have the passenger window operate like the power window on the driver's side. Just a single touch would lower the passenger window. Now I have a problem (among many) what controls the auto mode? Is it the switch, motor, wiring harnass, etc. Is it possible to replace just the passenger switch for a auto driver switch? Retirement gives you time to think of stupid things. :jester:

An "auto up" feature would be nice as well. Of course, so would getting back the "Instant Economy" and alternate trip counter.

My wife's '08 Acadia has auto power up on both front windows. Wish my truck had that.

If you install an aftermarket alarm system you can add a window module to it. This will allow you to auto up or down all windows connected to it from the factory main window switch or

the alarm remote. I had a DEI alarm with remote start and widow module on my old truck. It's pretty cool to be able to roll your windows up and down by remote it gets alot of reactions

from people.
