Help Needed With Clock Spring Install

I finely got a chance to work on this project and I have gotten the airbag out and the old steering wheel off. Now I am a little puzzled at how to get the plastic housing off the column. I looked under the column and I did not see any screws or bolts to remove it.

 

How do I do that?

Ok clock spring is in. The plastic housing just snapped apart. However now that the new steering wheel is in I cannot see that the wheel switches are back lit. Anyone have thoughts on that?

 

Would they not be powered since the computer does not recognize that an an option?

Ok so I did not have the inst. lights turned up. Sure would be nice if someone else posted here. This forum isn't very helpful.
