Xm Channels

This morning I woke up to my XM48-Squizz channel is now Octane. I remember when I did a 30-day trial with Sirius this Spring and did like Octane. However, when I received XM in my truck when I bought it in May, I became accustomed to Squizz.

 

So I go to check out the Squizz page @ XM - http://www.xmradio.com/onxm/channelpage.xmc?ch=48 - "Squizz is now called Octane". Same DJ's, but different "feel" to it.

 

Good thing they kept AC/DC radio!

 

From the Annoucement Made Today, I think I'm going to like the new changes.

For those that have XM, what do you think about this "change"?

 

I to am a loyal squizz listener who noticed the change this morning. The thing that concerns me is that Octane does NOT have "XL" for explicit language listed by it in the channel listing. If that is true it would eliminate about half of the songs which used to play on Squizz. I am listening at my desk right now, I guess only time will tell if I like the change.

I think they've eliminated the XL [abbreviation] on the explicit channels. I already heard an Octane ad this morning about fukking your boss - it was hilarious, so I think we're good to go on the XL

That's good, without the explicit language there wouldn't be much left to play.

I noticed the changes this afternoon too. I think their keeping the same lineups just changing the channel names. I did see though they're adding more worthless crap to XM. Jamie Foxx, NBA, The Grateful Dead and Elvis channels. I thought this merger would be more productive.

They took my 54 LUCY away The replacement, LITHIUM, is good, but not the same. They should have kept both.

Lucy's gone???? Ohhhhh Nooooo.....I haven't checked out Lithium yet, I've been on a country kick...16 was Highway 16, and is now Highways, 17 was US country and is now prime country. Good mix of tunes, I'm likin' it so far.

 

Is 46 still Top Tracks? My other favorite.
