Hi there, I am partly new to the site and thought id introduce everyone to myself and my truck. I just got a 08 Sierra Denali 2 weeks ago. I got the Summit white one and love it. I am already getting some aftermarket things put on and so far that includes:

 

Rancho 4 (inch)Suspension Lift

20 inch Gear Alloy 715c wheels

35 BFG mud terrains

K&N CAI

Gibson Dual Exhaust rear exit (wanted Corsa bad) but for half the price I will try Gibson, and would like to hear if anyone else has a gibson exhaust system and if they like it)

Stainless Step Bars

 

I am anxious about the lift because I have read some posts with other owners having to modify the drive shaft and my shop guy has not mentioned that yet and am kind of nervous.

but will find out probably Monday how it all shapes up.

 

Future mods are:

 

Bed cover

Possibly a brush guard depending on how it looks when held up to the front end ( this is just a maybe)

Programmer (still trying to decide what and how these things work and install)

 

 

I am looking for some input on the truck. I love it and cant wait to get it back from the shop.

Sounds cool but skip the hand held tuner and get a custom tune from someone like Blackbear Performance. You'll get MUCH more out of your truck that way.

 

There are some guys with the Gibson systems here but I have yet to hear of one on the 6.2 If you want to hear one on a 5.3, click here.

 

 

EDIT: I just took a look at your pictures. Nice truck but if I may make a suggestion, please remove that pin stripe. I'd also suggest de-badging the rest of the truck but the pin stripe has to go. :rolleyes:

wow love the quick response.

 

I am undecided on the strip and badgeing but i like having the gmc on my truck ha, and Denali. The dealership thing can go though!

 

I may look at it different once i get the lift and all that on though who knows! :rolleyes:

 

Nice 2500 btw i wanted to test drive the diesel but thought to try the denali first and fell in love, I have a feeling though if i test drove the 2500hd with the duramax i would of fell in love as well!

 

You all got some great trucks. Love it.

Four foot suspension lift with twenty foot wheels? Damn, that suckers gonna be HUGE. :lol: Can't wait to see the finished pictures. I agree with Daddy, at the very least the pinstripe and dealer sticker need to go byebye. :lol:

Thanks for a warm welcome. I am supposed to be getting my truck back from the shop today with the lift, wheels, tires, intake and step bars on it. The exhaust has not come in yet and that will be an easy task to put on any way. Of course i have been told that it was going to be a one day job on the truck but now its taking almost 4. They ordered the wrong rear shocks so that took an extra day and today it should be wrapping up so who knows...
