New 08 Sierra

Hey guys,

Just got back on here. I had been a member along time ago and just getting back now with a new truck.

I traded in my Duramax for a 08 1500 Z71 4x4 Sierra crew cab SLT. While I am having withdrawal issues from leaving my dmax and am enjoying the cheaper operating cost of the 1500. I looking for some exhaust advice, intake and possible EFI Live tunes (I had all of the above on the DMax and am addicted).

Also looking at possible lifts (leveling or suspension haven't decided). This trucks sits way too low -

I really like the new interior and I know my neighbors really appreciate how quite the new truck is in the morning.

Sounds like a nice truck.

As far as exhaust, you have to be careful what you choose because of the AFM. When it's running in the higher RPM's in 4 cyl. mode, the drone is horrendous and makes you want to slit your wrists I have glasspacks on mine and couldn't stand that drone anymore so I got the Diablo Predator to disable the AFM.

Here is a pic - Now I need Ideas for where to go from here. Also the current edition of EFILive I have is V1 - does anyone know if thats compatible with the 08's or do I need to get V2.

I am not 100% on this, but I am almost certain Justin told me this weekend that you would have to have V2. Like Jeff said, PM Jenna or Justin and they will know.

Congrats on the new ride! I have a corsa sport exhaust on my truck, I wanted some noise ,it was way too quiet with a stock exhaust. Been very happy with it so far.
