Shock Install?

So for xmas I asked for 5100 bilstein shocks. I will be installing them myself and was just wondering if there were certain things I needed for the install or if its pretty much unbolt and bolt back in? Are there any bushings I'll need or should everything come with the shocks? thanks for the help!

It won't be a problem to replace them. Unbolt, remove. Install new shock, bolts, tighten to specs. Done! Everything you need will be included with your new shocks

Yup, it's as simple as jack up the truck, put it on jack stands, take out the old shocks, put in the new ones.

One piece of advice... I would coat the nuts/bolts with a penetrating lube the night before I planned on changing them. Silicone based sprays also help with the bushings.

just replaced the shocked on my buddies 2500hd and we didn't have to jack it up at all. the hard part is just rolling on the ground to get underneath to get the bottom bolts off. Other than that fairly easy, no more that 15 minutes a side.
