Noob To Your Site

Hello everyone,

I am brand new to the site, so I figure it will take me a little while to learn the navigation. It looks like there is a lot of great information here and a lot of people with a lot of experience.

I just picked up a 95 Silverado 2WD, extended cab for my son who is going to a local JC. It has a few issues, dead blower on the HVAC, noisy compressor bearing, and need a windshield. It's not nearly a cool as the trucks I have seen on the site, but the paint is clean and no body damage. I have a 94 Caprice with the LT1 and many upgrades. I am also building a 55 f100, about 70% done. The ford guys give me a lot of flack, it has a fresh 89 Vett L98 TPI and fresh 700R4 with all of the fixings. I also installed a TCI MII independent front end and a 4 link rear with a 9". I like trucks. Clearly I talk too much (working on that) but I look forward to meeting the group.

Welcome to the site!!! We need pictures especially of that f100 with the vett engine!

Photos of the Silverado are coming, the truck is over at a friend's house, I have to wait a day or so for the black ice to melt, first thing is to replace that heater fan. As for the 55 F100, my sons and I are starting final assembly, frame painting, suspension parts, etc. If you want to see some of the work that has gone into it, here is a link to a gallery at the Ford truck site, the last set of pics show the most, after a million hours of welding and cutting.

I will have some pics of the Silverado in a day or so, but here is the daily driver. I used the attachment feature. I guess i will find out if this is how it's done.
