Fog Lights

Ok so I've read a bunch of posts on this subject. So I hope im not beating a dead horse. Im wanting to put fog lights on my 2001 2500hd 4x4 does any have any experience with this install? I found some online can you guys ive me some input?

I think that the admins need to highlight the Search icon... Or give it a moving banner advertising search for an existing topic! I dont know anyone that uses the search bar except for the people that regularly visit...

No need to highlight I've used the hell out of it...how is using the search icon helping me with getting an opinion on a product from members??? anyway

Your post asks about experience with the install, not the product manufacturer. If that's your real question, I have no experience with that or any other brand for your style truck. Sorry.

the install is my main concern. not sure if it's just a bolt on or a PITA although I also posted a pic of the product to maybe get some input on that also

Bolting them on should be relatively easy, but you may have a problem getting the truck to know they exist so you can turn them on. (Or just "hardwire" a switch might be easier.)

the more i think about it the more i would like them stock. I just called my local dealer and he said i might...have to reprogram the BCM....for 100 bucks!!!

I know it isn't cheap. I wanted to do this on my old truck but didn't want to spend the $$ to reprogram the BCM
