Greeting from the wet Pacific Northwest.

I traded my `98 GMC extended cab Z71 4x4 last October for a `05 GMC crew cab Z71 4x4, 5.3L. Loved the old truck, but I was looking for a few more "creature comforts" and better gas mileage. So far the `05 is living up to all my expectations, but I do have one little issue with the door locks. Occasionally the rear doors lock for no apparent reason and will not unlock. I have it set to unlock all doors when shifted into Park - all 4 doors unlock, but then the rear doors re-lock. I've worn out the owners manual trying to figure this one out. Any ideas?

I will post some photos of the black beauty when the weather gets better and I can keep it clean for more than 10 minutes!!

The doors re-lock while still in park or after you put it back in gear?

The doors re-lock while in Park (engine off). This only seems to happen when my wife is with me, causing the dreaded dirty look when she can't open the back door to get her purse . The only way I can get the back doors to unlock is lock all doors with the fob, then unlock all doors with the fob. Sometimes it may take 2-3 times with this procedure to get the back doors to unlock. Weird.
