Hey guys. I just finished our ODB Trouble Code Lookup tool

GM-Trucks.com Trouble Code Lookup

I'm still going to add explanation as to how the trouble codes are used and broken down.

It is still in Beta, so this is where I need your help to make this as useful as possible. How can we beef up this tool to make it the best trouble code tool on the net?

Technical Service Bulletin Tool is next.

Thanks guys!

If only the new guys will search for this it would be great... I wonder if its a good idea to have them read on a Newbie inituating page.... Something that they have to look at before they join or post...

Looks good Josh

I noticed the header image, is that the new look/feel for the forum too?

We could put together a newbie faq and pin it in the newbie introduction section....

Yeah that and a faq about searching for a topic before they start a thread.... Like Exhaust, Programmers and Tunning, Leveling kits and lifts seem to be some big repeats...

Big plans in the coming weeks for GM-Trucks.com That header image is likely to be replaced by something a little easier on the eyes.

The new forum look, even I don't know what it will look like. We are waiting for IB3 to come out, which is scheduled for 'When its done.' At that time we will probably invest in a nice skin. ( maybe 2 or 3 so you can pick the color)

Awesome new is good... I have always liked this thread and the way it works as opposed to other forums that all seem to have the same format...

Like, gmfullsize,titantalk, and duramaxforum...

Make this one better than it is now is going to be awesome! :D

Perhaps just the logos are what they have a problem with. I know that Josh will infact clarify but I also know that the dealership service personnel give out this information...i dunno :D

They didn't care about the actual information, especially tsb's since they are public knowledge. They didn't like the fact that we use the gm logo, and that some of the information in the Wiki is copy and pasted including GM copyrights. Needless to say GM has bigger things to worry about now, but we are still trying to fix these issues so that you guys still get the info, and we dont upset GM. The good news is that we are working to make the homepage have ALL the info the Wiki does, plus how-tos, product reviews, truck of the month, etc. Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.

You need to change the code for P code search. It finds B codes....

C

Thanks! All fixed.
