Traction Control Failure

Anyone know how T/C interfaces with the ECM or dose it?

Heres the deal I build 2500HD Duramax Suburbans down here in Orlando Fl. Last week I decided to do the impossible, just as a learning exercise of course. I swapped an 03' 4X4 LB7 drive train into my wifes 03' AWD Escalade. I switched the front diff and rear center section from a Z71 suburban, the end result is a 4X4 diesel Escalade w/G80 posi. But now the T/C light comes on and it says service stability system.

Heres the kicker, it doesn't do this with the ignition on but engine not running, you can turn T/C on and off no alarms, nothing. But as soon as you start the engine T/C light comes on and the DIC says service Stability system.

Any thoughts? I believe its tied to the engine but dont know this system because we don't have this system on 2500 SUVs that we traditional convert.

well the stability system would be the braking system correct? So I would assume it has to do with the braking system computer not sending the system the correct information it needs. The engine I would imagine is just the signal that says the vehicle is active.

I believe the system works with different sensors on the brake system and wheels and you probably don't have all those components on your truck, that's why the T/C service message..

No No I have everything in the truck the frame, body & all components are in place. May-be I lost power somewhere or something, I do tend to think as last posted the engine needs to send a signal that the truck is active, may-be I can lie to it some how. Is there a wiring diagram to it anywhere?
