i just wanted to let ya'll know that the AXXESS ipod adapter company sucks! they are very vague with important information, like don't work on radios with bose or with 6 disk in radio player.

I use the interface from

on my Bose 6 Disc system. Works pretty good. If you have a remote starter you will have to wire up an on off switch because it twitches out for some reason. Also some units have been known to causes glitches in the gauges. It doesnt actually break anything just every couple days when you driving your gauges will just tweak for a split second and go back to normal. But I have a little black switch that lets me cut the power to the Ipod unit after I start up in the morning. It resets and then good for the rest of the day.

Despite some of the minor querks...works pretty good for aftermarket addon.

That sucks. Check out if Peripheral to see if they have anything for your truck. I had the PXAMG in my 07 and it worked fine (search this site and you'll find more on it).

I have the PXAMG in my '08 and it sucks. Keeps losing the Shuffle setting and lots of the time will keep playing after I shut the truck off.

Worked fine for me, but I never used the shuffle. If PChrist is around, he could hime in; I sold my unit to him.

Another option would be to check out if Scosche has anything that will work for you.

Man, it's tough to get a consensus on which iPod adapter is the best option. Some folks like the Peripheral, some don't. Some like the GM PAL, some don't. I was going to go with the Peripheral or the PAC, but now I'm not sure...

:dunno:

i'm satisfied with the factory AUX input

+2...... Factory Aux Jack is great. No noise and plays just about anything. :P

My aux line had a grounding feedback when I plugged the ipod into the dc outlet to charge it. That's why I went with the PXAMG. I like it, but yes it does lose shuffle randomly, which can get annoying. Also it's a tedious job to search through artists when you've got 10000 songs on it, as everytime you start a search it resets to the A's instead of the last displayed name.
